Growing on Windowsills
Ashleigh is bringing the community together by offering a series of workshops focused on growing microgreens on your windowsill. The goal of each workshop is to empower participants by demonstrating how they can grow microgreens at home. By the end of the workshop, each participant leaves with either a kit or a planted set of up to four pots of microgreens, a growing guide, and various activity sheets. This project is designed to inspire the residents of Newtown to continue growing their own food at home, even during the winter months. Ashleigh’s workshops highlight the potential for everyone to grow, even if they don’t currently have access to a garden. With Ashleigh’s guidance, anyone can enjoy fresh, healthy microgreens from the comfort of their own home.
