Our Nursery specialises in edible plants and ornamentals for wildlife. We provide a wide range of plants for the veg plot, perennial forest gardens, school garden projects, community projects and to our own market garden. Now also growing a wide range of Welsh native plants, that can be grown to order for your own wild flower meadow.
All our plants are grown on our nursery at the Newtown community garden using peat free compost that we make ourself to match different plants needs. We collect many seeds and cuttings from our own sites, meaning our plants our suitable for our Welsh climate.
Plants are available for sale from Cultivate’s Newtown market Hall shop – Tuesday to Saturday 9am to 5pm, and from Great Oak Foods in Llanidloes – Monday – Saturday 9am to 5pm. For a wider selection of plants and planting advice visit our Nursery based at the Newtown Community Garden site (next door to the college).
